Jin Ting Study Hall is a cultural heritage site protected by Shenzhen Municipality.

Jin Ting Study Hall: A cultural heritage site under the protection of Shenzhen Municipality, located within Xixiang No. 2 Primary School at No. 164, Hexi Fourth Fang, Lequn Community, Xixiang Subdistrict, Bao’an District. Built in the 21st year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1895). It faces south and features a three-lane layout, with a total width of 22.50 meters and a depth of 32.72 meters. Constructed with a brick, wood, and stone structure and featuring exposed brick walls. The central lane has three bays, two courtyards, and one skywell. The right lane has a two-courtyard, one-skywell layout with a single bay width. The left lane is a two-story building with a single bay and single courtyard. The central entrance is flanked by tutor platforms, and the stone plaque above the door is inscribed with “Jin Ting Study Hall,” dated “Summer Month, 21st Year of Guangxu, Lin Guogeng wrote this.” The roof truss combines both through-tenon and raised-beam structures. It has a flush-gable roof, decorative ridge, red tiles, and blue-glazed tile ornaments. This study hall is relatively large in scale, features a unique architectural style, and demonstrates high construction craftsmanship, providing valuable physical material for the study of study hall architecture and the history of education in Bao’an. In December 2014, it was designated as a Shenzhen Cultural Heritage Site by the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government.
