Xinqiao Grain Silo is a cultural heritage site under the protection of Bao’an District.

Xinqiao Grain Silo: A cultural heritage site under the protection of Bao’an District, located at No. 20, Qiaotou Village, Xinqiao Community, Xinqiao Subdistrict, Bao’an District. Originally built in 1946, the Bao’an County Grain and Feed Department established a grain depot here in 1948. After 1949, it served as the Xinqiao Central Grain and Feed Warehouse, one of the four such central warehouses in the county. It faces west and is situated to the east. The courtyard extends 51.3 meters from north to south and 53.2 meters from east to west, covering an area of 2,729.8 square meters. Within the courtyard are two adjacent circular warehouses, featuring bluestone plinths, red brick walls, cement floors, and domed roofs. Each has an inner diameter of 13.7 meters and an eave height of about 7 meters. The lower sections have no windows, while the upper parts are fitted with small ventilation windows. In September 2010, it was designated as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Bao’an District People’s Government.
