Wangniuting Park, located in the central urban area of Fuyong Subdistrict. In August 2010, the government invested over 28 million yuan to renovate and improve the mountain’s landscape and municipal facilities. Wangniuting was originally a lush, forested hillside. In 2005, Fuyong Subdistrict built Wangniuting Park, with a total investment of about 28 million yuan. The completed park features upgraded and enriched mountain landscapes and municipal amenities, along with a main entrance and secondary entrances for easier public access. Two new hiking trails totaling 3,000 meters were added, paved with marble slabs, completing a loop trail around the park. Visitors can now walk barrier-free from the foot to the mid-level of the mountain, passing scenic spots such as “Fruit Grove in Whispering Green” and “Forest Sea of Sound.”

Strolling through the park, you’ll be greeted by fragrant blooms and picturesque scenery. The park has added more health-promoting trees and shrubs with aromatic flowers, further diversifying its plant varieties. The mountain also now features enhanced supporting facilities including restrooms, streetlights, surveillance systems, guardrails, and trash bins.

The fragrance of flowers, birdsongs, winding paths, and waterfalls leave a lasting impression. Wangniuting Park not only directly benefits residents of the six nearby communities—Baishixia, Fuyong, Jufu, Huaide, Qiaotou, and Xinhe—but has also become another great destination for fitness and leisure for nearly 500,000 residents across the entire subdistrict.
