Pingyaoling Site

The Pingyaoling Site is a Guangdong Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

The Pingyaoling Site is located in Junliao Village, Daping Town, Liannan Yao Autonomous County, Qingyuan City, and dates back to the Ming Dynasty. The site consists of the Junliao Pai ruins, Shaozhitang ruins, Pingyaoling cliff inscriptions, and Shaozhitang cliff inscriptions.

On April 19, 2019, the Pingyaoling Site was designated as part of the ninth batch of Guangdong Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units.

Daping Town: Located in the northwest of Liannan County, Daping Town borders Woshui Town to the south, Xiangping Town to the west, and Taibao Town of Lianshan County to the north. It is 24 kilometers from the county seat and is a Yao-inhabited town with a mixed agricultural and forestry economy. Covering a total area of 92.8 square kilometers, the town governs five village committees with a total population of 11,104. Due to its emphasis on agricultural economic development, the town currently has cultivated land totaling 10,763 mu, including 4,479 mu of paddy fields and 6,284 mu of dry land.
