Lian Nan Shunde Cultural Square

The Lian Nan Shunde Cultural Square project was jointly invested in by the Shunde District Government and the Lian Nan County Government, and constructed in Lian Nan County, with a total investment of 12.01 million yuan.

Since 1997, Foshan’s Shunde District has been providing assistance to Lian Nan County. Over eight years, a total of more than 190 million yuan in aid funds were invested, enabling significant development in the county's economy and various social sectors. The once impoverished and underdeveloped Lian Nan now presents a flourishing, vibrant, and sustainably developing scene.

Since beginning assistance to Lian Nan, efforts have been based on practical conditions and tailored to local circumstances. A phased poverty alleviation plan and annual poverty relief programs for Lian Nan have been formulated, supporting municipal construction in the county. With 5 million yuan allocated to build the Shunde Cultural Square and 3 million yuan to the Shunde Avenue, the largest and most beautiful Shunde Cultural Square in the city was completed. It enriched the recreational spaces for residents and brought remarkable and gratifying changes to the appearance of the county town, further enhancing its overall quality and standard.
