Wumazhai Ecological Park in Renhua County was established in August 2002. Located 18 kilometers east of Shaoguan City at the intersection of National Highways 106 and 323, it covers an area of 120 mu. It is a demonstration base for edible fungi of the Shaoguan Agricultural Science Research Institute and a member of the Guangdong Edible Fungi Industry Association. The park is dedicated to the development, research, and cultivation of wild delicacies from northern Guangdong. It has established the “Wumazhai” brand and operates as an integrated enterprise encompassing scientific research, production, packaging, sales, and eco-tourism. In 2006, all its products passed the quality inspection by the Shaoguan Agricultural Products Safety Supervision and Testing Center, offering consumers safer, better-quality products.

As part of Shaoguan’s tourism industry, Wumazhai Ecological Park is a demonstration base for edible fungi under the Shaoguan Agricultural Science Research Institute.
