Huayangzhai Ruins is a cultural tourism attraction.

Huayangzhai Ruins. Located in Angang Village, Dongtang Town, these were the fortress walls of the Renhua peasant uprising army in 1928 that, together with Shitang’s Shuangfengzhai, bravely resisted enemy forces to protect the revolutionary troops.

Dongtang Town: I. Geographic Location: Dongtang Town is situated 12 kilometers southwest of Renhua County. It governs 16 village committees, 1 neighborhood committee, and 196 village groups. In 1979, it was known as Dongtang Town People’s Commune, and was renamed Dongtang Town in 1983. It borders Renhua Town to the east, Hongshan Town to the north, Lechang City to the west, and Qujiang District to the south, covering a total area of 192.8 square kilometers, including 29,500 mu of arable land.

II. Natural Environment: Dongtang Town is located in the mountainous region of northern Guangdong and features a mid-subtropical monsoon climate.
