Baoshan Murals

The Alukeerqin Banner Museum houses 2,133 cultural relics, including 143 first-class national relics and 8 second-class relics. The Baoshan Murals are among the most eye-catching and valuable artifacts. These murals were discovered in Dongshabu Township, Alukeerqin Banner. In 1994, they were listed as one of the “Top Ten Archaeological Discoveries in China.” The area boasts beautiful landscapes and lush forests and grasslands. Experts and scholars from across the country, as well as cultural relic specialists from Japan, the United States, Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom, and South Korea, have visited specifically to conduct research on these relics and held academic seminars, giving high praise to the Baoshan Murals.
