Outstanding Industry Partner
On January 16, as ISPO Beijing celebrated its 15th anniversary, and NITECORE, a long-time friend of ISPO Beijing, has grown together over the years. As a result, NITECORE was awarded the “Outstanding Industry Partner” plaque by ISPO Beijing.
ISPO AWARD 2019 Global Design Award
On January 17, NITECORE’s LC10 USB Magnetic Outdoor Power Bank, which integrates charging, discharging, and emergency lighting functions, won the ISPO Global Design Award for 2019 with its innovative design and outstanding performance. It became the only professional outdoor lighting brand from China to receive this honor!
The grand occasion of the Golden Rhino Awards
On the evening of January 18, the 13th edition of China’s highest honor in outdoor sports — the Golden Rhino Awards ceremony — was held grandly in Beijing!
Guided by the spirit of “True Outdoor Adventure: Documenting the Evolving Outdoor China,” the China Golden Rhino Awards have witnessed countless breakthroughs by Chinese people in the outdoor field since their inception in 2006. The achievements of Chinese outdoor enthusiasts in 2018 remained dazzling — completing the most challenging traditional climbing route in China, the first Chinese champion in the UTMB-OCC race, and the first ascent of Gongga Mountain in 61 years… Ten awards, ten stories full of challenges.
NITECORE had the honor of being the award presenter at this outdoor gala, presenting the “Outdoor Person of the Year – Trail Running” award to Jia Erenjia.
Running for destiny, running towards a future — this Tibetan young man made it happen. Winning the UTMB around Mont Blanc with world-class difficulty and international significance shows that Chinese trail runners also have the opportunity to showcase their strength and style to the world.

On January 16, Keep running, chase the dream of trail running
Outdoor expert Lao Sun detailed his journey of getting into trail running. He shared many insider stories, talked about his most memorable international race experiences, gave hands-on advice on what to consider when choosing running gear, and shared tips for successfully and safely completing major races!
On January 17, Peak Journey Photography
500px contracted photographer, 8KRAW contracted photographer, and member of the China Timelapse Photography Alliance — Yi Ran — shared the process of photographing “Peak Journey – K2” and “Peak Journey – Zhuomijier.” From timing, equipment, preparation, and other core issues, he explained how to capture perfect outdoor landscapes.
On January 18, The Thai Cave Rescue: A Race Against Time
We were honored to invite Dabing and Heijisi, members of the Beijing Pinglan Public Welfare Foundation Cave Rescue Team who participated in the rescue operation in China, to share their emotional journey with outdoor enthusiasts. Together, we explored how to engage in outdoor activities more safely!
When the topic turned to the “rescue operation of the missing Thai youth soccer team,” the sharing session reached its climax, with continuous interaction and an exceptionally lively atmosphere. It felt as if everyone was “transported” to the rescue site alongside Dabing and Heijisi’s sharing!
