England — Bibury
Artist William Morris called Bibury, nestled by the River Coln, “the most beautiful village in England.” The stone cottages built in the 17th century look like something out of a landscape painting, especially those on Arlington Row, whose serene and picturesque scenes have appeared on the big screen multiple times.

Austria — Hallstatt
Once wealthy from salt mining and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Austrian town of Hallstatt is located near Lake Hallstatt. With a population of just under a thousand, this old village is a popular tourist destination in the Salzkammergut region.

France — Colmar
Located at the heart of Alsace’s wine-growing region, the town of Colmar was once a hub for local wine trade. Its excellent climate and terroir have also earned it the title “Capital of Wine.” The town’s historic architecture is another major draw for visitors.

Norway — Reine
Reine in Norway was an important trade center in the 17th century. Though the village has fewer than a thousand residents, its stunning scenery and picturesque setting have earned it the reputation of “Norway’s most beautiful village” and make it a popular travel destination today.
