Mitsui Bank Main Building
The current Mitsui Main Building, officially known as the Chuo Mitsui Trust and Banking Building, is actually a new structure rebuilt after the Great Kanto Earthquake. Lessons learned from the quake led to special seismic reinforcement measures, making its earthquake resistance more than twice that required by current building codes. The building features a neoclassical architectural style and was constructed using Italian marble. It has been designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan. In 2005, a new 39-story Mitsui Tower was added. Aside from housing the headquarters of Mitsui Fudosan and the Nihonbashi branch of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, as well as the Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, the seventh floor also hosts the Mitsui Memorial Museum, which displays collections owned by the Mitsui family.

Tokyo National Museum
With five separate facilities — the Honkan (Main Gallery), Toyokan (Asian Gallery), Hyokeikan, Heiseikan, and the Horyuji Homotsukan (Gallery of Horyuji Treasures) — Tokyo National Museum is the largest art museum in Ueno Park, a place rich in cultural atmosphere. The Honkan houses Japanese art, the Toyokan showcases Japanese archaeology, and the Heiseikan serves as a special exhibition space. Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum
The museum building itself is a beautiful red-brick structure full of retro charm. Although not a historic building, it was reconstructed based on detailed research of original blueprints drawn up in 1894 by a British architect for the original Mitsubishi building on the same site. The 2nd and 3rd floors are used as exhibition spaces, while the 1st floor houses a historical archive of the building, a café called 1894 (created within the original bank lobby space, offering an open and airy feel), and a museum shop.

Shin-Marunouchi Building
Located right in front of the Marunouchi Entrance of Tokyo Station, the Shin-Marunouchi Building grandly opened in the spring of 2007. Its lobby space, designed with classical European flair, attracts many elegant and affluent visitors. Following the example of the Marunouchi Building, it adds more commercial elements to the Marunouchi area. With around 150 shops selected for their unique, refined, and elegant brand concepts, it offers a delightful shopping experience for businesspeople in the Marunouchi district.
