Moon Tooth Mountain Karst Cave
The Pearl Cave of Moon Tooth Mountain is located in Shijiamanzu Township, Harqin Banner, approximately 32 kilometers from downtown Chifeng. The currently discovered cave consists of two levels, both in their natural state, and is a relatively rare limestone karst cave in northern China. Inside the cave, stalagmites are densely distributed, and the cave walls feature large areas of calcium carbonate formations such as stalagmites, flowstones, cave coral, cave popcorn, and cave draperies, creating a beautiful and magical underground landscape. The air inside the cave is fresh and abundant, with few dust particles and harmful microorganisms. The humidity is moderate, the temperature is relatively high, and it contains a large amount of negative air ions as well as essential trace elements for the human body such as iron, zinc, and copper. These factors have a beneficial regulatory effect on the vegetative nervous system and offer notable therapeutic effects for conditions such as emphysema, asthma, rheumatism, palpitations, and dizziness. It is truly a “natural oxygen bar” and a cave hospital. Near the cave lies a vast apricot forest, where blooming apricot blossoms cover the hillsides every spring in shades of pink and white, creating an exceptionally enchanting sight. Visitors flock here to hike, admire the flowers, explore the cave, and find themselves lingering without wanting to leave.
