Jiazi Mountain Ruins Complex

The Jiazi Mountain Ruins Complex is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Jiazi Mountain Ruins Complex is located in the northwest of Harqin Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is a large settlement ruins complex composed of Jiazi Mountain, Dashanqian, Chengziding, and others. The sites are distributed across mountains such as Xinglong Mountain, Jian Mountain, Wangboji Mountain, Dongjiazi Mountain, Xijiazi Mountain, and Zhangfengling. Within a 30-square-kilometer area, there are 33 typical sites, the majority of which represent the Xiajiadian Lower Culture during its prosperous development period. These date back approximately 4,000 to 3,500 years. In 2001, the State Council officially designated the Jiazi Mountain Ruins Complex as a National (Fifth Batch) Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
