Ge Hong Museum

The Ge Hong Museum is located in the Zhuming Cave Scenic Area of Luofu Mountain, Boluo County, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, with a total construction area of over 3,000 square meters. The plaque was inscribed by Tu Youyou herself. Based on the culture of Ge Hong and the traditional Chinese medicine heritage of Luofu Mountain, the museum primarily uses audiovisual technologies such as animation, VR, and 4D films, along with more than 500 historical relics to mainly showcase the life stories, writings, and medical contributions of Ge Hong and his wife. It presents the health preservation culture of Ge Hong to visitors through physical displays and interactive experiences, allowing tourists to personally engage with and gain an intuitive understanding of traditional Chinese medicine. The museum also vividly illustrates the traditional Chinese medicine culture of Ge Hong through hand-drawn artwork.

Luofu Mountain Administration: Since the Qin and Han dynasties, Luofu Mountain has been known as the "Mountain of Immortals." It has long been honored as one of China's Top Ten Taoist Mountains, the "Foremost Mountain of Lingnan," and the "Ancestor of the Hundred Yue Mountains," and is revered by Taoism as the "Seventh Grotto-Heaven and Thirty-Fourth Blessed Land." The great Han Dynasty literary scholar Sima Qian regarded Luofu Mountain as a famous mountain second only to the Five Great Mountains, referring to it as the "Yue Mountain."
