Temple of Immortal He

The Temple of Immortal He is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Temple of Immortal He is approximately 12 meters wide, 30 meters deep, and about 3 meters in height. The temple has three sections and three rooms, with a central courtyard. The rear section contains three rooms, each housing a statue: Guanyin, Hongsheng Da Wang, and Immortal He. Currently, the temple is managed by a Taoist priest from Mount Wudang, with a total of 19 temple caretakers. An annual martial arts competition is held, and gatherings (Quanzhen Taoist Wudang Sect events) take place on the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month and the 9th day of the 9th lunar month. The Hanhe Temple of Immortal He was first built in the first year of the Daoguang era, and has undergone several reconstructions and destructions. It was renovated in 1984 with donations from compatriots in Hong Kong and Macau as well as people from various regions. Legend has it that this was the site where Immortal He of Zengcheng stayed and cultivated herself in the mountains beneath the Crouching Tiger Plateau in Hanhe.
