Shangwei Memorial Archway

The Shangwei Memorial Archway is located in Dutou Village, Dipay Town, Longmen County, Huizhou City, with GPS coordinates of 23°46′29.0″N, 114°09′55.8″E and an elevation of 103 meters. The archway faces east and is a three-bay, three-story brick structure from the Qing Dynasty. It stands 6 meters tall and is 4.5 meters wide, with the central bay measuring 1.28 meters. The entire structure is built with blue bricks. The plaque above the gate bears the molded character “履中” (now damaged) in lime plaster, and the roof is a hard-style gray-sand tile roof with a flush gable and a dragon boat ridge. Originally, walls were built on both sides of the archway, but now only the left-side wall foundation made of blue bricks remains.
