Meiyuan Pristine Ecological Scenic Area

Huizhou Shijie Meiyuan Eco-Tourism Resort, developed by Huizhou Meiyuan Eco-Tourism Development Co., Ltd., is part of the Jinqiu Nature Reserve. Located in Jinqiu Village, Shatian Town, Huiyang District, it borders Daya Bay to the south and Pinglong Highway to the north, just under an hour’s drive from downtown Huizhou. Access to Shijie Meiyuan is possible not only by land but also by boat, via Shatian Reservoir. Ticket: 20 RMB. The Meiyuan area is divided into eight functional zones, most of which are operated through rural-style activities.

Meiyuan cultivates a large amount of organic vegetables available for purchase by visitors, making it a rare pristine nature reserve in Guangdong and the province’s first pristine landscape eco-tourism destination. It is known as the “Little Jiuzhaigou of Southern Guangdong.”

Shatian Town: Shatian Town is a “new urbanization pilot town” in Huiyang District, as well as a national-level ecological town, provincial-level education-strong and health-strong town, and municipal-level civilized, healthy, and hygienic town. Its Tian tou Village is a national-level civilized village. The town governs eight village committees and one community neighborhood committee, with a registered population of 15,000 and a permanent population of about 30,000.

Location: Situated in the southeastern part of Huiyang District, it serves as the eastern gateway of Huiyang and is part of the central urban area of Huiyang. Located at the center of the Huan-Daya Bay New District, it neighbors Hong Kong and Macau.
