Baiyunzhang

Baiyunzhang is located in the "no-man's land" where the jurisdictions of Qingxi Town in Dongguan, Pingdi Town in Shenzhen, and Zhenglóng Town in Huiyang overlap. This area features overlapping mountain ranges and dense vegetation. Nearby are the three major forest farms of Qingxi, Lushanli, and Baiyunzhang. The highest peak is Baiyunzhang (at an elevation of 1,003 meters), followed by Yinpingzui (at 898 meters), with the two sister peaks facing each other from afar.

To the south of the mountain lies the Pangu Palace temple. At the mountaintop, there is a large cave with a spring inside. From the summit, the Dong River can be faintly seen. It is one of the scenic spots in Huiyang District.

Transportation: Starting from Shenzhen, take the Huizhou–Yantian Expressway, exit at Xinxu, and head south along G205. When you see the sign for “Xinxu Woolen Mill” (about 1 km from Pingdi, Shenzhen), leave G205 and turn west toward Xinxu Yuechang. Then, take a mountain road up to Baiyunzhang. Starting from Huizhou, head toward Shenzhen via the Huizhou–Yantian Expressway or G205 to Xinxu Town. When you see the sign for “Xinxu Woolen Mill,” leave G205, turn west to Xinxu Yuechang, and then to Baiyunzhang Forest Farm.

Food and Accommodation: There are multiple hotels and guesthouses in Xinxu Town. You can also stay overnight at the Pangu Palace on Baiyunzhang Mountain.
