Biejutian Cave Scenic Area is located southwest of Zhongshi Village in Zhongxing Town, less than 10 kilometers from the county seat. The area features striking peaks, steep cliffs, picturesque landscapes, layered verdant mountains, and enchanting scenery. The lake stretches 5 kilometers in length and covers an area of 10 square kilometers. Surrounded by rolling hills, dense pine and bamboo forests, and abundant wildlife, the region is rich in natural resources. In summer, it presents azure waves like spring seas, while in autumn, deep greens ripple with the breeze, offering ever-changing, distinctive views. Natural attractions include Bird Flying Through Cave, Fairy Lady Rock, Lovers’ Rock, and Golden Dipper Rock, along with rare flowers and traditional Chinese medicinal plants such as Cycas revoluta, Lion’s Ear, Hundred-Day Sunflower, Azaleas, and Orchids. Opposite the scenic area’s first-tier power station lies the “Dragon Pool,” a spectacular waterfall formed by a sharp river drop that plunges into the pool. Additionally, the area contains glacial potholes formed tens of thousands of years ago, diving caves, and cliffside sites featuring Immortal Footprints, Stone Coffins, and the Valley of Fragrances.
