Mantuo Mountain Villa is an azalea-themed ecological garden meticulously developed over ten years. Azaleas are cherished by the global horticultural community for their graceful plant forms, glossy dark green leaves, and vibrant, richly colored blossoms. With an extensive variety of cultivars, the azalea is a traditional ornamental flower in China, ranking seventh among the “Top Ten Famous Flowers.” It is also one of the world’s prized flowering plants and serves as the provincial flower of Yunnan Province. The villa is covered with different varieties of azaleas, set against a sea of white flowers across its ten-thousand-acre organic ecological planting zone. Even in the harsh winter, visitors can bathe in a shower of colorful azalea blossoms and feel the auspicious charm within these flowers.

In the “Tea Oil Germplasm Resource Conservation Base” jointly established by Mantuo Mountain Villa and the School of Life Sciences at Sun Yat-sen University in 2006, more than 400 rare varieties of azaleas and oil tea plants from around the world have been collected. These include the golden camellia, known as the “panda of the plant kingdom” and a national treasure, the century-old camellia king, the everblooming azalea camellia that flowers all year round, and the extremely rare red tangerine oil tea. This collection is hailed as the “Chinese Azalea Encyclopedia.” Within this garden, Mantuo Mountain Villa has added cultural elements such as ancient oil pressing demonstrations and an azalea poetry corridor, creating its core scenic area — the “Mantuo Garden.” Here, visitors can not only admire the elegant and noble azaleas but also immerse themselves in the culture surrounding these flowers, experiencing a rare sense of tranquility.

The “Four Seasons Flower Sea” is the core scenic area meticulously developed by our company. Flowers bloom here year-round, which is the true essence of Mantuo Mountain Villa’s Four Seasons Flower Sea. The area also incorporates tourism elements such as children’s entertainment, floral garden viewing, and wedding photography themes. No matter when you visit Mantuo Mountain Villa, you can enjoy a wide variety of flowers in all their shapes and colors. Clusters and bushes of blooms — some as red as fire, some as yellow as gold, some as white as snow, some as green as jade... Some resemble a streak of morning glow, others a rainbow after the rain, and still others like white clouds drifting across the blue sky — together forming a vibrant and colorful scene.

The Tea Oil Production Experience Area offers open tea oil production, allowing visitors to better understand the refining and processing procedures of our tea oil products, fully embodying the concepts of pollution-free and zero-additive production. During the tea oil production season, interactive activities are available for visitors, who can also experience freshly pressed tea oil bought on-site. While admiring the scenery and learning about tea oil culture, visitors can enjoy the pleasure of drinking tea oil they’ve just helped press.

To realize a new model of tourism, Mantuo Mountain Villa has built an e-commerce industrial park within the estate.
