The former site of the Meiping Guerrilla Unit is a Meizhou Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

The former site of the Meiping Guerrilla Unit is located in Dazhe Town, Pingyuan County, Meizhou City. Dating back to the Republican era, it is considered an important modern historical site and representative structure.

On March 13, 2020, the Meizhou Municipal People's Government designated the former site of the Meiping Guerrilla Unit as part of the seventh batch of Meizhou Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Units.

Dazhe Town: Situated in the county seat of Pingyuan, Dazhe Town lies at 115°54′ east longitude and 24°25′ north latitude. It borders Dongshi Town and Rezhe Town to the east, neighbors Zhuling Town of Xunwu County, Jiangxi Province to the west, connects to Shizheng Town and Changtian Town to the south, and adjoins Zhongxing, Hetou, and Dongshi Towns to the north. The town government is located 46 kilometers from downtown Meizhou. National Highway 206 runs through Dazhe Town from south to north. After connecting with Changtian Town to the south, it leads directly to downtown Meizhou. To the north, via Zhongxing, Hetou, and Bacheng Town, it provides direct access to Xunwu County in Jiangxi Province.
