PanKeng Scenic Area is located in Sanjiao Town, Meijiang District, Meizhou City, 7 kilometers from the city center, covering an area of 47 square kilometers. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the area boasts lush forests and beautiful scenery. Major attractions within the scenic area include the PanKeng Gongwang Temple, the "Panxi Waterfall," and the Nianci Pavilion. The area also features tourist facilities such as tea houses, restaurants, pleasure boats, and seaplanes.

Attraction Introduction

This tourist scenic area is situated in Sanjiao Town, south of Meizhou City, and is known as the "Scenic Wonder of Southern Meizhou." Two large mountains stand opposite each other across the river, where you can find magnificent flowing waters and elegant green pools; vibrant mountain flowers and ancient emerald-green trees; and endless stretches of fragrant grass. Whether it's the morning sunrise, the evening glow, or a rainy afternoon, the scenery remains consistently beautiful. In PanKeng Scenic Area, visitors can engage in hiking for fitness and enjoy the beautiful landscape.

Sanjiao Town: Located in the southern suburbs of Meizhou City, Sanjiao Town borders Huangshazhang Gaoguanyin in the east (which also marks the boundary with Xiyang Town, Meixian District), faces Meijiang River in the west (across which lies Chengjiang Town, Meixian District), adjoins Changsha Town in the south, and neighbors Jiangnan Subdistrict in the north. The total area of the town is 42.12 square kilometers. The land features an interplay of basins, hills, and mountains, sloping progressively from southeast to northwest. The southeastern part consists of high mountains, with Huangshazhang Gaoguanyin being the highest point at an elevation of 770 meters; the northwestern part comprises the alluvial plain of Meijiang River, with elevations below 100 meters.
