The former site of the traffic hub of the East River Column and Eastern Guangdong Guerrilla Unit is located at the Qiaolin Ancestral Hall in Liming Village, Sanjiao Town, Meijiang District. The Qiaolin Ancestral Hall was initially built in the late Ming Dynasty and has a history of over 400 years. It is a Hakka Weilong-style enclosed house featuring a three-hall, four-wing, and one-attached-structure layout, covering a total area of approximately 20 mu. This ancestral hall is one of the better-preserved ancient buildings in downtown Meizhou and also served as a secret base during the Anti-Japanese War and Liberation War for the Eastern Guangdong Guerrilla Unit of the Guangdong East River Column, where messages were relayed between higher and lower party organizations. The hall produced revolutionary youths represented by Zhang Rongjiao, who contributed to the success of the revolutionary and liberation cause in Meixian.
