Attraction Introduction

Situated on the west coast of Mauritius, the park provides an excellent setting to get close to nature and serves as a massive wildlife park that fully captures the spirit of Africa. It houses numerous bird species as well as rare creatures like giant tortoises. With its African-inspired flora and scenery, the park is often referred to as a “miniature Kenya.”

Walk with Lions

In Mauritius, one experience you absolutely cannot miss is walking with lions at Casela Nature Park. Accompanied by professionals, you can experience the thrill of walking side-by-side with the king of the jungle, even playing together in streams and grasslands for a real-life “Tarzan” adventure. Afterward, you’ll be awarded a bravery certificate as a keepsake.

4x4 Adventure

You can also rent a 4x4 vehicle or the more agile two-wheeled Segway to freely roam through dense tropical forests, with the chance of encountering zebras, giant tortoises, and ostriches. For a more thrilling experience, try the park’s valley zipline — glide hundreds of meters while feeling like you’re soaring like a bird.

Additionally, the park offers amenities such as free parking, restaurants, convenience stores, a 4D cinema, and souvenir shops for your leisure and enjoyment. The park is quite large and packed with activities, so plan to spend at least half a day to fully enjoy it.

Special Tips

1. 4x4 vehicle rides require advance booking at least one day in advance, and it's recommended to bring a dust mask as the ride can kick up a lot of dust and splash mud.

2. There are no paid bird park activities on Sundays, and all paid activities need to be booked in advance. Arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.

3. Due to the rich vegetation and wildlife, there may be insects. Bring anti-itch and mosquito repellent products.

4. Wear comfortable shoes and apply sun protection while visiting the park.

5. The lion walk is very popular, so it's best to book at least a month in advance.

6. There is a Chinese service desk at the zoo entrance.
