Ulanqab Potato Museum

The Ulanqab Potato Museum is a specialized museum that brings together the origin, history, development, culture, as well as the current state of potato cultivation in China and particularly in Ulanqab. The museum has a planned exhibition area of 3,000 square meters, with the first phase covering 1,000 square meters, divided into four exhibition zones: “Care and Support,” “Culture and Industry,” “Platform and Enterprises,” and “Innovation for the Future.” These zones comprehensively present the origin and history of the potato, as well as its spread and development, through a combination of text, images, charts, physical objects, specimens, models, and videos. They also showcase the remarkable achievements of Ulanqab’s potato industry in areas such as industrial development, technological innovation, enterprise growth, talent cultivation, and socio-economic benefits.
