Chahar Folk Museum

The Chahar Folk Museum is situated at the southern foot of Tiger Mountain in Jining District, harmonizing with the Jining Campaign Memorial and forming an attractive feature of the Tiger Mountain Ecological Park. Encompassing a total area of 24,267 square meters, the museum’s main building has a construction area of 4,687 square meters, while auxiliary facilities cover more than 7,000 square meters. The main building is designed as a three-story structure, with an architectural style that fully reflects the characteristics of Chahar culture. It organically integrates traditional Mongol-Yuan cultural elements with modern design concepts, while deliberately avoiding the clichéd representations often associated with "Mongol-Yuan culture" to prevent excessive "symbolism." This approach not only fulfills the needs of cultural preservation but also serves as a vibrant attraction for tourism and leisure.
