Jining Campaign Red Memorial Park

Jining Campaign Red Memorial Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a classic red tourism destination, a patriotic education base, and a national defense education base.

Jining Campaign Red Memorial Park is located at No. 1, Ecological Avenue, Quanshan North Street, Jining District, Ulanqab City, covering an area of 130,000 square meters. It features the Jining Campaign Memorial Hall as its main exhibition area, and includes 20 visiting and experiential sites such as the Victory Square, Heroes Square, Generals' Park, People's Heroes Monument, the former site of the Jining Campaign Command, a national defense education zone, and a youth science and technology experimental base.

The memorial hall exhibition area is divided into two floors, comprising eight sections and nineteen units including Victory in the War of Resistance, the Battle for Jining, the Datong–Jining Campaign, the Liberation of Jining, and Commemorating Martyrs – Treasures of Red Memory. It displays over 1,200 pieces of precious cultural relics, photographs, and artworks. The hall also features multimedia equipment such as audiovisual semi-panoramic paintings, holographic imaging, and a 5D cinema.

The memorial park has successively been awarded several honorary titles, including “National Key Martyrs’ Memorial Building Protection Unit,” “National Classic Red Tourism Destination,” “National AAAA-Level Tourist Attraction,” “National Defense Education Demonstration Base,” “Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Classic Red Tourism Destination,” and “Autonomous Region Patriotic Education Demonstration Base.”

Starting from 2017, the municipal Party committee and government decided to establish the Ulanqab Party History Museum within the Jining Campaign Red Memorial Park. With a total construction area of 9,400?, the project commenced construction in April this year and is expected to be officially completed by the end of September. Once the museum is completed, the memorial park will leverage the Jining Campaign Memorial Hall, the Ulanqab Party History Museum, and other red-themed sites within the park to carry out education on the history and theory of the Communist Party of China, revolutionary traditions, and basic national conditions. Centered around the memorial park and extending to nearby areas such as Liangcheng, Houqi, and Siziwang Banner, efforts will be made to develop the Jining Campaign Red Memorial Park into a new model of cadre education base based in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, radiating to the Yangtze River Delta, and influencing the entire nation.
