Attraction Introduction

Nord Park (Nord Park) is the largest national forest park in Innsbruck, offering a range of adventure activities such as skiing and rock climbing. It also features several scenic spots including Hafelekar Peak (Hafelekar) and Seegtube Peak (Seegtube), and is close to the highest-altitude zoo in Europe — the Alpenzoo.

In Innsbruck, ascending Hafelekar Peak (Hafelekar) is the best place to enjoy a panoramic view of the Alps. The peak is located right in the middle of the Nordkette mountain range. From the top, you can overlook the entire city of Innsbruck, with the Inn River shining like a silver thread. On clear days, you can see the Breithorn Peak on the Italian border and Austria’s largest mountain, the Großglockner. When night falls, enjoying the charming nightlife of Innsbruck from the mountaintop restaurant is a truly poetic experience. Additionally, the building next to the Hungerburg Cable Car Station is a circular panorama hall, whose artworks mostly depict the 1809 battle led by Tyrolean national hero Andreas Hofer and his people against the invading Napoleonic forces.
