Sporgasse
Attraction Introduction
Nestled right next to the central square of the Old Town, Sporgasse is lined with rows of Gothic buildings, making it one of the most romantic streets in Graz.
Among the most famous sights here are the Arkadenhof at Sporgasse 22, a building entirely covered in “small kneaded dough” with a uniquely charming style. There's also the Palais Saurau at Sporgasse 25, where you can see a striking and majestic statue of a Turkish warrior in a courting pose. Originally a symbol of a competition, the statue has now become an emblem of home.
