Gegentala Grassland is a cultural tourism attraction.

Gegentala Grassland is located 140 kilometers north of Hohhot City, within the jurisdiction of Sumu Township, Siziwang Banner, Ulanqab League, Inner Mongolia. It was opened to tourists in 1979.

Located in the heart of the Ulanqab Grassland and north of the Daqing Mountain, Gegentala Grassland is one of the Mongolian ethnic culture tourism destinations invested in by the National Tourism Administration. In summer and autumn, the grassland boasts lush pastures, sturdy livestock, pleasant weather, and beautiful scenery. The entire area features rolling hills, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the grassland landscape.

The Gegentala Grassland Tourist Center is fully equipped with a wide range of service facilities. After years of planning and development, it has become a multifunctional tourist destination that combines recreation, leisure, sightseeing, and business conferences. Visitors to Gegentala Grassland can go horseback riding, take camel rides, enjoy ethnic song and dance performances, watch the “Three Manly Games,” savor Mongolian cuisine, and experience authentic Mongolian culture.
