Prince Ning’s Mansion

Prince Ning’s Mansion is a municipal cultural heritage protection unit in Beijing.

Prince Ning’s Mansion is located

at No. 3 Beijige Lane, Dongcheng District, and is listed as one of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Beijing.

In the eighth year of the Yongzheng reign (1730), the emperor conferred the title of Prince Ning on Hongjiao, the fourth son of Prince Yi Yinxiang, and the mansion was built here. The main gate, wing buildings, main hall, rear bedrooms, and rear tower of the mansion are largely well-preserved. Since its construction, the mansion has not undergone major renovations or alterations, retaining the architectural style from before the Qianlong era. It is one of the oldest and highest-standard princely mansions still existing in Beijing.
