Randers Tropical Zoo is a renowned indoor tropical zoo located in Randers, Denmark. It is home to a wide variety of tropical animals that are very popular with visitors. From a distance, the zoo’s exterior features three large spherical glass structures that are highly eye-catching, and visitors who have been here often fondly remember the rich diversity of tropical animals.

The indoor area of Randers Tropical Zoo is the largest artificial tropical rainforest in Northern Europe, distinguished by its 350 species of tropical plants and 175 species of tropical animals. All the flora and fauna within the zoo are housed within these three large transparent dome buildings — the South America Pavilion, the Africa Pavilion, and the Asia Pavilion. Most of the animals roam freely throughout their respective pavilions. In addition, there is also a non-venomous snake exhibit and a tropical fish aquarium.

The indoor temperature at Randers Tropical Zoo is controlled by computer to ensure that the tropical plants and animals from their native habitats can enjoy a comfortable life in this foreign environment.
