The Moesgaard Prehistoric Museum (Moesgård Museum) is situated in the Moesgaard Manor in Højbjerg on the outskirts of Aarhus, Denmark. It functions as both a regional museum and one devoted to archaeology and ethnology. The museum collaborates with Danish prehistoric archaeological institutions, as well as the Department of Medieval and Renaissance Archaeology and the Department of Ethnology and Anthropology at Aarhus University.

Moesgaard Prehistoric Museum is a large museum of archaeology and ethnography that showcases ancient artifacts. Although it also houses archaeological finds from Bahrain and other Gulf countries, its main collection consists of Danish archaeological artifacts. With over 50,000 archaeological objects from around the world used for research and exhibitions, the museum’s most famous exhibit is the 2,000-year-old preserved human body known as the Grauballe Man. Thanks to its burial in a peat bog, the body was protected from decay and remains remarkably intact — even facial features and individual fingers are clearly visible.

The Moesgaard Prehistoric Museum presents historical artifacts in chronological order, covering the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age, and all the way to the Viking Age. Outside the museum, reconstructions of Viking-age houses and burial sites are displayed, along with exhibits on ethnographic topics such as Greenland. The entire museum is surrounded by greenery, giving it a tranquil and rustic atmosphere.
