Snowdonia National Park is located in northwest Wales, facing the St George's Channel, and is the largest national park in Wales. Established in 1951, it is the third oldest national park in the UK, covering an area of 827 square miles. It has 100 lakes, 90 peaks, 37 miles of unspoiled coastline and beaches, and is also home to Mount Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales.

Snowdonia National Park is the second-largest national park in the UK, after the Lake District. Approximately 500,000 visitors come here each year to get close to Mount Snowdon, whether to climb, hike, or take the Snowdon Mountain Railway. The mountain offers many hiking routes suitable for different skill levels, making it a coveted challenge for climbing enthusiasts. The park also boasts a range of natural attractions such as rivers, lakes, waterfalls, marshlands, glacial valleys, and beautiful coastlines. In addition, it features historical sites including Stone Age and Bronze Age burial chambers, Roman forts, Norman castles, heritage railways, and remnants of Britain’s mining industry.
