Beneath your feet, the black slate and rubble reveal the former glory of this massive quarry. In winter, it's covered in pristine snow, creating breathtaking scenery, with a stunning azure alpine lake lying ahead. Zip World is located at Penrhyn Quarry, near Gwynedd in North Wales, UK. Once the world’s largest slate quarry with a history of over 200 years, it has now been transformed into a public mining park. In addition to quarry tour options, visitors can choose between short and long zip line flights. The long flight spans 1,600 meters, while the short one is 500 meters, with varying heights to match individual fitness and courage levels.
