St Fagans National Museum of History was established on July 1, 1948, and has since become one of the earliest open-air museums in Europe, one of the finest outdoor museums in the world, and one of Wales’ most popular historic heritage destinations. The museum is located in the suburbs of Cardiff, within St Fagans Castle — a stunning estate with over 400 years of history and many beautiful formal gardens.

St Fagans National Museum of History tells the moving stories of the people of Wales, showing how they lived, worked, and relaxed. It features more than 40 original buildings carefully relocated from various parts of Wales, including a row of blacksmiths' forges, several farmhouses, a schoolroom, and a medieval church. In the museum’s workshops, craftsmen such as blacksmiths and clog makers demonstrate their skills daily. There is also a hands-on gallery where visitors can experience Welsh life firsthand.
