Parker Howard Museum
The Parker & Howard Museum is located just north of the town center of Llanelli in Carmarthenshire, Wales, UK. It is a museum housed in an 18th-century Italianate country house and set within a 24-acre scenic civic park.
The land on which the Parker & Howard Museum stands was donated to the town by Sir Stafford and Miss Howard Stepney (Lady Howard Stepney). The museum was established in 1882, opened in 1886, and underwent renovation in 1912. Today, it is managed by Carmarthenshire County Council. The museum is the best place to explore the history and art of Llanelli, featuring Llanelli pottery produced locally between 1839 and 1920, which was donated by Miss Howard in 1933. It also houses numerous paintings, portraits, other artworks, as well as artifacts and handicrafts related to the region's history and culture. Additionally, there is a café nearby where visitors can relax and take a break.
