Golden Acre Park is a public park located in the city of Leeds, England. Covering 137 acres, it is home to a variety of plants, trees, and animals. With its elegant and tranquil environment, the park attracts many visitors and is one of the most popular parks in Leeds.

Golden Acre Park officially opened in 1932 and initially offered a range of recreational facilities for visitors. Unfortunately, the outbreak of World War II forced the park to close temporarily. In 1945, the park came under the management of Leeds City Council and reopened to the public, becoming a leisure destination for many citizens. The park features ornamental gardens, exhibition gardens, open lawns, serene lakes, and elegant cafés. It is planted with lush vegetation such as lilacs, daylilies, hostas, and deutzias, which burst into vibrant blooms that attract bees and butterflies.

The park’s tranquil lake provides a habitat for various animals, offering a pleasant environment for fish and ducks. Benches are placed beside the park’s towering trees and winding paths, allowing visitors to sit and enjoy the scenery when they need a rest.
