Bern Minster is located in the Old Town of Bern, the capital of Switzerland, and is one of the country’s most iconic buildings. The construction of the minster began in 1421 and took nearly a century to complete. In the late 19th century, a spire reaching a height of 100.6 meters was added to the top of the church, making it the tallest church in Switzerland.

Bern Minster is a large Gothic structure, featuring the famous relief “The Last Judgment” on its façade and 15th-century stained-glass windows. Inside the church is an organ made up of 5,404 pipes, the largest in Switzerland. During Christmas and concerts, this 18th-century organ plays beautiful music. Additionally, visitors can climb the 254-step spiral staircase inside the church to reach a viewing platform at its center. On the first Saturday of each month, a handicrafts market is held in the square where the minster is located. Climbing the spire, built in the 19th century, offers a panoramic view of the entire city of Bern.
