　 Introduction Archbishop Marsh's Library was established in 1701 by Archbishop Narcissus Marsh (1638–1713) and is the oldest public library in Ireland. The library contains 25,000 books spanning the 16th, 17th, and early 18th centuries, covering fields such as theology, medicine, law, science, travel, navigation, music, ancient history, and classical literature. It also holds a collection of 300 manuscripts. For 300 years since its establishment, the library’s architecture and interior have remained unchanged, exemplifying the typical style of a 17th-century scholar’s library. Tickets / Opening Hours Admission: €2.50 for adults, free for children. Opening Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 10am–1pm & 2pm–5pm; Saturday: 10:30am–1pm; closed on Tuesdays and Sundays.
