Working Holiday Visa Applications for Ireland Now Open

Taiwan and Ireland’s Working Holiday Programme (Working Holiday Programme) will officially take effect on January 1st of next year (2024). The Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service) has started accepting applications for the Working Holiday Authorisation from Taiwanese nationals as of today. Taiwanese youths aged between 18 and 30 can apply to visit Ireland for tourism, participate in educational or training activities of no more than six months, and engage in non-permanent employment.

Since Ireland does not have a representative office in Taiwan, applicants need to visit the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service website (www.inis.gov.ie), select “Immigration,” then choose “Working Holiday Programme Between Ireland and the Republic of China (Taiwan),” and download the “Application for a Working Holiday Authorisation.” After preparing the required documents, they can send the application directly to the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service.
