Hook Head Lighthouse is located on the Hook Peninsula in County Wexford, Ireland. It is one of the oldest lighthouses in the world and the oldest operational lighthouse in Ireland. It marks the entrance to Waterford Harbour and is around 800 years old.

Now automated, the history of Hook Head Lighthouse dates back to the Norman era, making it the oldest continuously operating lighthouse in the world.
