The official name of the Spire of Dublin is the "Monument of Light," located on O'Connell Street in the capital city of Ireland, Dublin. This 121.2-meter-high stainless steel spire began construction in 2002 and was completed in 2003, becoming the city's newest landmark and attracting every visitor who comes here.

The design concept of the Spire of Dublin is "to connect the bridge between art and science with an elegant and energetically minimalist simplicity." Standing 121.2 meters tall, the spire consists of six sections, each averaging 20 meters in length. Its base has a diameter of 3 meters, narrowing to just 15 centimeters at the top—needle-like in shape—making it the tallest outdoor sculpture in the world. Like a celestial pillar, the spire soars straight into the clouds, fully showcasing modern elements. From a distance, the sharp structure rises into the sky, and when sunlight hits the stainless steel surface, it radiates pure power and beauty.

As night falls and all becomes quiet, lights illuminate the base of the spire, blending it into the brilliant night sky while the tip transforms into a bright beacon. Enhanced by numerous lights, it is exceptionally beautiful and serves as one of Dublin’s most iconic landmarks.
