Dublin Little Museum

The Dublin Little Museum is located in an 18th-century building in St. Stephen's Green, Dublin. It is a non-profit museum dedicated to the citizens of the city, and to some extent, a civic museum that primarily tells the stories of Dublin’s past as a modern urban center.

The museum showcases the historical changes and development of Dublin from 1900 to 2000 through the eyes of its visitors, covering social, cultural, and political dimensions. A large portion of its extensive collection has been donated by local citizens, featuring items such as furniture, stamps, postcards, telescopes, vending machines, sports equipment, scientific instruments, gambling devices, children’s games, newspapers, magazines, advertisements, books, and photographs from the 20th century. The numerous photographs are neatly displayed on the walls, with black-and-white and color images from different eras telling the stories of their time. The furniture and decor reflect the living standards and interior styles of the period, as well as offering a glimpse into the popular art of the time.

The Dublin Little Museum is open from 9:30 to 17:00 every day from Monday to Sunday, and stays open until 20:00 every Thursday.
