Bantry House and Gardens, located in Bantry, County Cork, spans 80,000 acres and was once the residence of Richard White, the first Earl of Bantry, and his descendants.

The house was constructed in 1700 and is not only one of the most well-maintained historic buildings in Ireland but also offers the finest views of Bantry Bay in County Cork. Bantry House opened to the public in 1946, making it the first house in Ireland—and even the British Isles—to do so. It remains privately owned and inhabited by the White family. The house is exquisitely elegant, with lavishly decorated interiors that leave visitors in awe. The gardens were created by the second Earl of Bantry and his wife, inspired by their travels across Europe. Designed in a terraced style divided into seven sections, with the house situated in the third section, the gardens are filled with birdsong and fragrant blooms, offering a serene and enchanting atmosphere.
