Lough Conn is situated in County Mayo, Ireland, and spans 57 square kilometers. It is famous across Ireland for fishing. The lake’s formation is tied to a legend in which a local hunter and his two dogs, Conn and Cullin, were hunting when they came across a wild boar. Remarkably, as the boar ran, water began to gush from beneath its feet, eventually forming the present-day lake. Conn chased the boar for several days but tragically drowned, while the boar managed to reach the shore.

Today, Lough Conn is one of Ireland’s most prestigious fishing destinations, attracting visitors from around the world who come to enjoy the sport. The tranquil lake is teeming with salmon and trout, offering anglers endless enjoyment.
