Ards Forest Park is located in County Donegal, Ireland, on the small Ards Peninsula. The park covers an extremely vast area of 481 hectares, home to a variety of wildlife and trees, combining forest exploration with the observation of wild activities. It also offers natural walking trails, beaches, viewpoints, picnic areas, and play zones, catering to various outdoor enthusiasts.

The park contains numerous historical and archaeological sites, including four ring forts and many megalithic tombs with long histories. There is also the “Tobar na hAghaidhe,” believed to be a holy well with healing properties. Numerous signposted forest paths are available throughout the park, showcasing its main highlights and making it ideal for hiking enthusiasts. These include the Ards Heritage Trail, which is 3.5 km long; nature and green trails of around 3 km; and the 13 km red trail, allowing different visitors to discover the fascinating and fun-filled Ards Forest Park from various perspectives.
