Waterford is a city in southeastern Ireland, located on the lower reaches of the River Suir, and is the country's fifth-largest city. Founded in 914, it is the oldest city in Ireland and was once the most powerful city and most important trading center in the country. It is now one of Ireland's busiest port cities.
