Nenagh is the county town of North Tipperary in Ireland. Historically, it was a market town, but today it is a bustling commercial town governed by Nenagh Town Council.

Nenagh is the most worthwhile town to visit in North Tipperary, featuring many historical landmarks. Nenagh Castle, built around 1200, is a fine example of a medieval keep. The Nenagh Courthouse was constructed in 1843 and designed by architect John B. Keane. The Nenagh Arts Centre (formerly Nenagh Town Hall) is a distinctive building erected in 1895. After renovation, it now houses a theater and versatile exhibition space. The neo-Gothic St Mary's of the Rosary Catholic Church, the nearby St Mary’s Church of Ireland, the ruins of the Franciscan friary, and the old gaol are all important historic structures in the area.

The Nenagh Heritage Centre is a unique museum located within a 19th-century prison building, offering visitors a chance to step back in time and explore Ireland’s rural past and the lives of former prisoners. In addition, the Nenagh Leisure Centre, Nenagh Country Market, and Nenagh Playground are also worth a visit.
