Roscommon is the county town of County Roscommon in Ireland, located near the junction of the N60, N61, and N63 roads. It is also about 16 kilometers from the River Shannon, making it a beautiful Irish town with stunning natural scenery and naturally occurring golf and horse racing grounds.

Roscommon is home to many buildings of archaeological and historical significance, including the impressive ruins of Roscommon Castle, the Roscommon Abbey built over 750 years ago, and the ancient Roscommon Gaol. Harrison Hall, situated in the Market Square, was once a 17th-century meeting place and, after many years of change, now houses the Bank of Ireland. The Roscommon Racecourse and Roscommon Leisure Centre are both key local recreational venues. The Roscommon County Museum is also a great place to learn about local history and admire historical artifacts, including 9th-century tombstones from St. Coman’s Abbey. In addition, a variety of specialty shops, chain stores, and cafés create an excellent shopping environment for visitors to enjoy.
